How to get ChatGPT Plus in Nigeria
Try one card first: a naira Visa or Mastercard with international online payments switched on in your banking app, and room left under your bank's dollar limit. Why ChatGPT declines Nigerian cards
Each bank sets its own dollar limit on naira cards; it is not a CBN rule. Many banks cut or stopped international use of naira cards when dollars were scarce, and since 2025 they have been bringing it back and raising the limits. In September 2026, reported limits included FirstBank at $10,000 a quarter for POS and online, UBA at $10,000 for online and GTBank at $40,000 a quarter. Your bank's app shows your current limit.
Within the limit, a payment can still fail. International online payments are often off until you switch them on, a standard Verve card is made mainly for use in Nigeria, and OpenAI can reject a card on its own risk checks. No card is guaranteed to work.

Since the Investments and Securities Act 2025, digital assets in Nigeria fall under the SEC, and few platforms hold a final licence yet. Whether to use USDT, and which platform, is your call.
- Binance stopped its naira services in 2024, so its P2P has no NGN. Use a P2P market that still lists NGN sellers, such as Bybit P2P, and complete its identity check.
- Go to P2P, then Buy, then USDT, with NGN as the currency. Filter by your payment method, bank transfer, OPay or PalmPay, and pick a seller with a high completion rate and many orders.
- Buy a little more than the order total, because withdrawing costs a network fee. Send the naira to the seller's account shown in the order, within the time limit.
- Tell the seller you have paid and wait for the USDT to be released into your wallet. Never mark an order as paid before you actually send the money.
- Place your Pay2GPT order and choose USDT. Copy the address and the exact amount for the network you chose; TRC20 usually has the lowest fee.
- Withdraw to that address on the same network, so the amount that arrives matches the amount shown. After one confirmation you are taken to your order page.

Your own account, no password, no 2FA changes
The plan is activated on the ChatGPT account you already use, so your chats and settings stay. We never ask for your password or a verification code, and you don't turn off two-step verification.
To connect the account you paste the Session text from a browser signed in to ChatGPT. While that Session is valid it works like a signed-in browser, so paste it only on your own order page. We do not store the Session in the database and use it only to activate this order. Signing out of all devices in ChatGPT ends it.
Subscriptions don't stack: activate when the account has no paid plan running. You have 7 days after paying to connect the account.
If activation fails
If the plan can't be activated, the full amount is refunded the way you paid; USDT refunds are sent less the network fee. If Plus drops within 30 days of activation for a reason that isn't yours, we restore it free or refund the remaining days. Review usually takes up to 3 business days, and the money usually arrives within 7 business days after approval.
