How to pay for ChatGPT Plus with Alipay
ChatGPT's own checkout generally needs a card that OpenAI accepts, so Alipay can't be used there directly. On Pay2GPT you pay with Alipay, and the plan is then activated on your own ChatGPT account.
Choose a plan and enter your email
Pick Plus or another plan, enter an email you can open, and choose “Card / Alipay” as the payment method. The activation link and order updates go to that email.
Choose Alipay on the Stripe payment page
You're taken to Stripe's secure checkout. Select Alipay. If you have a promo code, add it here before paying.
Confirm the payment in Alipay
On a computer, Alipay shows a QR code to scan with the Alipay app. On a phone, the Alipay app or Alipay's web page opens. Check the amount and confirm.
Connect your account and confirm the top-up
After paying you return to your order page. Paste your ChatGPT login details there to start activation; most plans are active within minutes.
What Alipay shows when you pay
Pay2GPT prices every plan in US dollars, so Plus is $21.19. Alipay converts that to yuan at the exchange rate of the moment and shows you the yuan amount to confirm, which is why the figure can move a little from one day to the next. The payee is Pay2GPT's merchant account through Stripe, not OpenAI; OpenAI is paid separately when your plan is activated.
You never enter a ChatGPT password, and Alipay never sees your ChatGPT account. The only thing you submit for activation is the login details from your own browser, on your own order page.
If the payment doesn't go through
- If Alipay declines the payment, check your Alipay balance or bank card limits and try again from the same order.
- If you paid but the page didn't return to your order, don't pay again. Open “Orders” and look the order up with your purchase email.
- If the plan doesn't show after activation, sign out of ChatGPT and sign back in. If it still isn't active after 10 minutes, email support@pay2gpt.com with your order number.
Refunds to Alipay
If activation fails, the full amount is refunded, and an Alipay payment goes back to Alipay. Refunds to Alipay are usually faster than refunds to a card. Once a refund request is approved it usually arrives within 7 business days, and approval itself usually takes up to 3 business days after you send the order number and a description of the problem.
Because the refund is converted from US dollars again, the yuan amount you get back can differ slightly from what you paid if the exchange rate has moved.
Other ways to pay
Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay and other cards work on the same Stripe page. If you'd rather not use either, you can pay with USDT, USDC and other crypto. WeChat Pay isn't available yet.
