When do you need it?

OpenAI may ask you to verify a phone number when you sign up, or sign in from a new device or network. Many local numbers never get the text, and virtual numbers are usually refused. This is a US number on a physical SIM, not a virtual one, valid for 21 days, and every text it gets shows on your order page.

How long does the number last?

21 days. Every text in that time shows on your order page, so it also works when a later sign-in asks again.

How many accounts can one number verify?

One OpenAI account. Verifying several accounts with one number tends to get them flagged.

What if the code never arrives?

Switch network or VPN node and tap resend. If it still doesn't come, swap the number on your order page, up to 2 times per order at no charge.

When can I get a refund?

If no number can be assigned, or none of your numbers received a text, the order page offers a refund to your original payment method. Orders that received a code are not refunded.

Does it work for ChatGPT too?

Yes. Codex and ChatGPT share the same OpenAI account.

Do you need my password?

No. You enter the number on your own sign-in page; we never see your account.
